4. Contact lenses intelligent:
Google announced first in January 2014 their lens project. This special pair of glasses by Google can measure the level of blood sugar in patients and warn when reaches to a dangerous level. The lens has a tiny pinhole that allows the tear to enter into the sensor that calculates the glucose level.
5. Bionic Plants:
The credit for developing bionic plants goes to a team of MIT scientists led by Michael Strano. This bionic plant has the capability to absorb light by 30% more than a normal plant. Its leaves have carbon nanotubes assembled that improve photosynthesis. Going more step ahead, the scientists now working to make this plant enable the chemical detection. This invention can turn plants into energy producing machines.
